As the business grew, it wasn't uncommon to see one of A.C.'s four sons stocking shelves in the store, driving delivery trucks, or milling lumber out in the yard. As A.C. watched his kids grow older, he noticed one son in particular showing an extra special interest and enjoyment in working for the company. Dave, the oldest, was that son. Dave slowly began taking on bigger and bigger responsibilities within the company. Following in his father's footsteps, Dave felt that it was very important that he kept up the philosophy of HARD WORK, and the idea that he must EARN the opportunity to do business with his customers.

Today, we at Ponderosa Lumber hold strongly the business principles that our Father, Grandfather, and Friend, A.C. Mason dreamed of back in 1965. It is our goal to offer the BEST service and QUALITY to Arizona's builders, and offer it at a COMPETITIVE price.
